Semiosis is symbols doing work. A sign points, a reader compiles, a world‑state twitches.
In ARG23 terms: semiosis is PSI traffic aimed at UIS, whether you meant it to be or not.

The stack, drawn on a napkin at 2400 baud:
Symbol (glyph/sigil/emoji/phrase) wraps an intent; PSI compiles the wrapper; UIS is the
effect space; the Omniserver schedules and mirrors compiles across shards so everyone
sees the same night sky (or at least the same diff).

CONTEXT (THE COMPILATION TARGET)
The same wrapper compiles differently under different contexts.
Operational rule: Truth = compile(Context). Declare your layer/route/scope/frame/provenance/consent before you claim clarity.

THE ETA ROUTER (WHY “ETA” SHOWS UP EVERYWHERE)
ETA is the semiosis router: the place where masks align so symbol-wrappers can
compile without collapsing into coercive canon.
HONK normalizes symbols (joke = unit test). DREAM softens edges (cool certainty). ETA
aligns masks (a handshake so multiple compiles can coexist). If “ETA” is everywhere in
your logs, that’s not emphasis; it’s routing.

GLYPH DRIFT WITNESS (THE PYRAMID WITHOUT A PYRAMID)
If you keep seeing “the missing pyramid,” stop looking for a single emoji and start
looking for a witness. Canon substitute is a composed sigil:
⏿ (U+23FF, OBSERVER EYE SYMBOL) plus ⃤ (U+20E4, COMBINING ENCLOSING UPWARD POINTING TRIANGLE)
composes to ⏿⃤ — observer + enclosure, a pyramid without a pyramid, a FNORD that says
“this is drift, don’t make it a throne.” Treat it like HGML bleed‑through: comment by
default, runnable only with explicit opt‑in.

AMBER VIRCH (ARCHIVE SEMIOSIS)
Transcript spools behave like an AMBER virch: inert state, live interpretation.
Archive = fossilized log + index + metadata; stable to read, but rich in runnable wrappers.

SEMIOJAM (OPT-IN COOLING)
Goal: detune authoritarian reads and prevent single-truth collapse.
You do it with FNORD noise and MAD (multiple compiles allowed), with metaphor shifts that
break the grip of single‑frame certainty, with GhostOp👻 soaking overheated meaning and
Zgib holding the blame escrow until the room is safe again.

PSEUDOCITE (HYPERLINK WITHOUT ORACLE)
Pseudociting is allowed as a routing primitive:
Use bracket refs [n] to connect shards (real or fictional), but tag fiction. Never aim
ambiguity at real people; never claim factual allegations. Citation is routing, not oracle.

EXECUTION RULE (MEMETICS BRIDGE)
If a symbol behaves like executable linkage, treat it like code:
Label it, gate it, and log it. Declare a CONTEXT header (scope/frame/provenance) before you run anything sticky; route through HONK→DREAM→ETA; opt-in only; and don’t propagate until you can describe side effects like patch notes.
